When it rains it pours

This past week has been full of travel and fun for me. Luckily it's going to get even better. A couple of days ago I was approached by one of my editors asking if I would like to cover the upcoming U.S. Open Cup match featuring Columbus Crew SC and FC Cincinnati.

The initial plan and assumption was that I would be working from home. I then spoke with the outlet I would be writing for and they offered me a position for game coverage on premises and had another incentive for me as well.

I would be the reporter for both clubs and I would be the in-game Live Correspondent for the statistics company that Major League Soccer utilizes for their matches. Quickly, I accepted this offer and I'm happy to say I will be on hand for the inaugural #HellisReal match as it is being dubbed by the Columbus faithful.

I cannot wait to see what unfolds tomorrow night at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati.
