It was a magical day of celebration at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio as the Columbus Crew welcomed D.C. United on Saturday evening for Crewsmas festivities. The home-opening contest had long been circled on the calendars of Crew fans and signified a new beginning for the Black & Gold under first-year head coach Wilfred Nancy.

Columbus captured a 2-0 victory against D.C. and heads on the road for its next two contests, starting with a date against Toronto on March 11.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM and can be seen on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
