Game Gallery: Columbus Destroyers vs. Albany Empire

It's been ten long years since the Columbus Destroyers played a competitive game inside of Nationwide Arena. Last Saturday evening the long hiatus ended as the club welcomed the Albany Empire to Central Ohio.

Unfortunately for the Destroyers, they couldn't capture the victory during the home opener. That didn't seem to bother the 7,000-plus in attendance because many were just happy to see arena league action back in the city after a lengthy absence.
