NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- On Saturday afternoon Walsh University defeated Cedarville University in the 2022 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Championship. The Cavaliers cruised to a 76-62 victory over the Yellow Jackets.

Garrison Keeslar finished with 18 points and guard Tim Smith Jr. supported with 16 points of his own.

Walsh closes the G-MAC tournament with a 23-6 record and finds itself in the NCAA Tournament for the third time, the first time since 2020 - when the tournament was canceled. Walsh is in line for the Midwest Region #1 seed and a host spot for the regional.
