Game Gallery: The Coldest Crew Game Ever

In what might be the coldest game in Columbus Crew history, the Black & Gold battled Toronto FC in the third week of the Major League Soccer season and the first leg of the 2022 Trillium Cup. Players and supporters alike battled the elements for all 90 minutes as fans were exposed to a combination of sunshine, wind, and snow.
Toronto tallied a goal early which lead to The Crew feeling the need to play catchup throughout the rest of the first half. The hosts eventually caught up to their Canadian counterparts, scoring two second-half goals and claiming a 2-1 victory.
