Fresh off a 2-0 win against the University of Illinois-Springfield, the Panthers set course for Lebanon, Illinois to face against the McKendree Bearcats. It was the first time the teams matched up since their 2017 clash in the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore Katlyn Jamiel's late-game heroics led ODU to a 1-0 victory and a 2-0 start to the 2019 season.
